About Us

The Bedford Fire Department is an 100% volunteer fire department located in the Town of Bedford, Virgnia. We respond to almost 1,200 calls annually, since our foundation in 1888 we have never turned a call over. We operate two engines, a tractor drawn aerial, a heavy rescue, and a tanker along with several support apparatus. Every item purchased from our store goes back into supporting our department.
